Original Character Portrait - Timber Tazuna

Original character I designed with Photoshop. I feel like I need to be better with faces and have learned a lot about textures and the finer details. I want to create more original characters portraits in the future.
Original Character Synopses:
Is based 1,000 years into the future and tells of a time where genetic perfection is the utmost in society.
Controlled centers around my main character, James Smith, who is unfortunately born with genetic imperfections, including red eyes and a heart condition, which in this society, would subsequently end in death for him, all for the effort of maintaining the prestige of the society. However, he and many others have went into hiding and have taken measures to cover up their imperfections...
